IELTS speaking part 1 science – science IELTS speaking part 1
Do/did you enjoy science lessons at school? (Why/Why not?)
Oh, absolutely! I was always drawn to science lessons at school. They were like a window into understanding how the world works, you know? From learning about the planets to the human body, it was all so captivating. I guess that’s why I still enjoy reading up on scientific discoveries to this day
What is the science subject you are most interested in? (Why?)
- Well, I’ve always been hooked on physics. It’s like the universe’s rulebook, isn’t it? Everything from a falling apple to the spinning galaxies follows these rules. It’s mind-blowing! And the best part is, the more you learn, the more there is to discover. It’s like peeling an onion – there’s always another layer
- Chemistry has always sparked my interest. It’s like being a detective, but instead of solving crimes, you’re unraveling the mysteries of the universe. From understanding how a cake bakes to why leaves change color, it’s all chemistry. The more I dig into it, the more I realize it’s everywhere. It’s like a double-edged sword – it can be complex, but also incredibly fascinating

It’s like solving a puzzle – the harder it is, the more satisfying it is when you figure it out. As for the science subject I’m most interested in, it has to be astronomy. There’s something about gazing up at the stars and knowing there’s so much more out there to discover. It’s like the sky’s the limit – there’s always more to learn and explore
Do you watch science programmes on TV? (Why/Why not?)
Definitely! I tune in to science programmes on TV all the time. It’s like having a front-row seat to the latest discoveries and breakthroughs.
