Tell me about the kind of accommodation you live in?
My residence type is an apartment building. The apartment unit has two medium-sized bedrooms. In addition, it has a small living room and a kitchen that also serves as the dining room. To me, the size of my unit is just right for me.

Yes, I certainly do enjoy staying in my city because it maintains the feel of nature with all the surrounding trees, even areas around the business district. Also, the temperature is almost always cool, which I find very comfortable. Moreover, the people are friendly and polite everywhere you go.

How long have you been living there?

I have been staying in my apartment for three years now. I used to live with my parents but when I got a job in HCMC, I moved to an apartment there. I moved in a few days before I started in my new job because it is the closest one to my office that I could find. I love it and I have no intentions of moving any time soon.

Do you think your area is a good place for families with children?

Oh very much so! As a matter of fact, most starting families in my country move to our place because it is child-friendly. For one, it is the cleanest city nationwide, which means children rarely get sick. Another is that children’s parks are scattered all over the area. Parents can just take their kids to any park any time.

Is there anything you dislike in the kind of housing you live in?

Yes, actually there are a lot. For one, living in an apartment is not as affordable as it seems. This is because you have to pay certain fees for maintenance. Another is that an apartment may not be spacious enough, especially when a person has a lot of furniture. Also, one can’t have a yard or a garden in an apartment complex.

What factors did you consider when you chose the kind of accommodation you live in?

The main thing I considered was the apartment’s location and security. I chose my apartment because it is very near my office. That way, it became easy for me to get to work. Other than that, I also checked if the area was safe and quiet. Fortunately, the neighbourhood where I live is a peaceful place.
