Sample answer to describe a special day out that cost you little money

One of the most memorable days out that didn’t cost much was during my spring holiday. I embarked on a journey from Tokyo to Osaka by train. The day was filled with excitement and anticipation as I was about to experience the Japanese train system in its entirety.

The cost of the trip was surprisingly affordable. I spent just 2500 yen for the entire journey. This was possible because we opted for a normal train with a special ticket priced at 2500 yen. If we had chosen to travel by Shinkansen, it would have cost us around 25000 yen.

The journey was quite tiring but filled with joy. I was accompanied by my friends and we spent the entire journey talking and sharing our thoughts. We changed trains many times, passing through numerous stations. Each station had its own unique charm and character, adding to the overall experience.

The scenery from the train was nothing short of spectacular. One of the highlights of the journey was the sight of Mount Fuji from the train. It was a truly memorable experience. The sight of the sprawling paddy fields was equally thrilling. The lush green fields stretched as far as the eye could see, creating a serene and calming atmosphere.

This day out broadened my perspective and enriched my life experience. Despite the physical exhaustion, the joy and excitement of the journey made it all worthwhile. It was a day filled with simple pleasures that didn’t cost much but left me with priceless memories.
