Sample answer to describe a new law you would implement
If I were to propose a new law, it would be one that mandates/requires the classification of garbage in Vietnam. This law would require all households, businesses, and public institutions to separate their waste into different categories such as organic waste, recyclables, and non-recyclables.
Introducing such a law would not be easy. It would require a significant amount of public education and infrastructure development. People would need to be taught how to properly sort their waste, and the government would need to invest in facilities to handle the separated waste. Despite these challenges, I believe that with the right approach and sufficient resources, it could be successfully implemented.
As for its popularity, it might not be widely accepted at first. People often resist change, especially when it requires extra effort on their part. However, I believe that once people understand the benefits of waste classification, they would be more willing to comply.
The reason I think this law is necessary is because of the growing waste problem in Vietnam. In big cities, especially Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), all garbage is dumped into landfills, which causes many problems for the citizens, such as unpleasant odors and water pollution. These issues lead to health problems and decrease the standard of living. By classifying garbage, we can not only reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills but also recover valuable resources through recycling. This would help protect the environment and also contribute to the economy.
